Kitty was a tremendous supporter of “her boys” and often represented their interests if they got themselves into trouble. It is without a doubt that, due to Kitty’s interventions, I was able to have a full RAF career post AUAS as there were several incidents during my 3 years on AUAS which could (should) have got me thrown out.
