A couthy Northeast quine who was like a mother to many and an auntie to us all. RIP Kitty.

I joined the AUAS in 1968 the same year as Kitty and was amongst the first of a generation of her "boys"
She was a remarkable and much admired lady by us all
My wife and I visited Kitty at home in Ellon shortly before she moved to Balmedie House
Although frail after a stroke she had lost little of her strong north east character and flawless memory. We passed a good time talking of old AUAS days
A truly great lady who will be sorely missed

I was one of numerous COs who were all lucky enough to have Kitty’s inestimable support. She was entirely deserving of the great affection and esteem in which she was held and I can’t recall anyone ever speaking of her other than in the warmest of terms - none more so than her 'boys'.
